About the Role

The Secretary plays a key part in keeping our charity organised and running smoothly. You will manage meeting agendas, take minutes, and help keep plans, calendars, and documents up to date. As a new organisation, we especially need someone who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to a growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes
  • Managing board diaries, planners, and key documents
  • Helping trustees stay informed about upcoming meetings and deadlines
  • Supporting communication between trustees, volunteers, and partners
  • Assisting with the coordination of outreach programmes and community partnerships

About You

  • Experience in admin or secretarial work (in any capacity) is helpful but not required
  • Good organiser with attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with different people
  • Keen to help build strong foundations for a new charity
